Notes On The Complexity Of Women
I'm very excited, because this picture at the right is a picture of the baby my wife is carrying. Right now it looks like we're having a peanut, but I'm hoping this thing grows a little. Judging from my size it's going to be growing well into retirement. The interesting thing about this process is that I'm seeing just exactly how complex a woman is. I mean, I knew my wife was complex before. I got that with the "don't get me anything for Valentine's Day," "I can't believe you didn't get me anything," routine a couple of years ago. We've been married for two years now and I thought I knew her. She doesn't want meat with a side of meat at every meal, she doesn't enjoy watching sports 24 hours a day, she doesn't like movies about history, she doesn't care about how bright I think the new strings on my guitar sound, that kind of stuff. Then she got pregnant. I'm now married to a different woman totally. For Valentine's Day she planned our evening; huge steaks at Outback, taking in the Hawks/Penguins game on Comcast, and playing her least favorite game in the world, Monopoly. That's what we would do if I planned a Valentine's Day. That's what we would do if I planned anyday. Right now I'm LOVING this pregnancy thing, but then again, I haven't had the chance to experience what happens after pregnancy yet.

Sean-
Congratulations. I can say you should be happy you move. A pregnant woman in 115 degree heat is a very unhappy woman and she would have taken it out on you. I had 2 kids born during summer and early winter. Trust me she made me unhappy during the hottest part of the year.
