The first time I heard the first sing Violet Hill and saw the album artwork I thought this was their crack at Sgt. Pepper's. They've adopted a theme both artistically and audibly. And Violet Hill just reminded me of Sgt. Pepper's for some reason. On my first listen to this album I'm floored. This might be might favorite Coldplay record yet. It's pretty great. Definitely art.
This is gonna be a good year for music. Now we wait to see if MuteMath can deliver again.
